Task 1
Identify the country or countries that you want to target. You may start with a continent in order to develop an overall plan for that continent.
Task 2
Identify the schools that are top prospects in those countries, that is schools that are independent/private and that may be American or British Schools along with other top quality schools in that country.
Task 3
Find out how the school systems work in your targeted country. We want to form clusters, feeder programs so that students join in elementary and carry on through middle school, high school and college/university.
Task 4
Which schools feed which schools in your chosen country?
Task 5
Join the STEM oriented networks on social media, etc in your chosen country of countries. Reach out and be active, meeting the key people who share our and your enthusiasm for STEM education in your targeted country or countries. Join Facebook groups that are relevant and filled with educators who are interested in STEM, reach out and connect with people on Linked In using the boolean search that our Linked In team can generate for you. Linked In is the top priority of all platforms followed by Facebook and then others.
Task 6
Reach out to the Ministers of Education in each country of interest to you. They may have STEM programs or advice on how to help the schools in their countries in STEM.
Task 7
Study how to use Linked In to build relationships by reading articles, books, YouTube etc. on the subject.
Task 8
Load the schools that you have targeted into our state of the art engagement software, Outreach IO, and into email sequences in coordination with our email sending team. The emails need to be tailored to the specific country that you have targeted. And to the specific schools you have targeted. And to the specific personas of the educators that you are focused on, that is elementary, middle high school educators. Work with our email sending team to craft the most effective email sequences. Then, a series of emails will automatically go out and you will be responsible for (and excited about!) following up on these leads that have shown interest.
Task 9
You will be responsible for following up on all leads in your country or countries that have expressed interest in a timely manner, within 24 hours.
Task 10
We have a huge support network of departments and teams in email sending, market research, public relations, social media, video production, Linked In and member care to support and coordinate efforts with you on your international efforts.
Task 11
As a secondary priority, identify companies and nonprofits in your targeted country or international companies and organizations that would be thrilled to sponsor National STEM Honor Society Chapters in close proximity to their areas of operation. Many companies are very interested in supporting the community where their workers live, where the children of those workers go to school and where they can draw their future workforce from!
