Raquel Rubio

Hello there! My name is Raquel, and I live in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from California State University Long beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have a strong interest in human resources and I/O Psychology. I joined NSTEM during my final year at CSULB in Fall 2023 as part of a course credit class, and I’ve continued with the organization since serving as a Manager, Co-Director, and now a Fellow in the HR department. What drew me to NSTEM was its mission to support K-career students in pursuing their passion for STEM fields and the opportunity for me to explore my interests in HR while gaining hand-on experience to build my skills.
