1. edX: Free Online Courses
edX offers many online courses in different disciplines brought to you by colleges and universities around the country. Some courses include civil engineering, data science, computer programming, mechanical engineering, and more. edX’s mission is to provide access to high-quality education for everyone. This is done through their partnerships with instructors from college campuses providing online learning content. 2. Khan Academy
Most high school students have heard of or used Khan Academy before. But did you know that it has content for college students as well? Khan Academy has lessons in higher-level math and science courses that many college students studying STEM fields will eventually be required to take. Khan Academy provides free resources, lessons, and practice problems to help students gain a better understanding of these subjects and concepts. Or perhaps you need a refresher on certain entry-level courses in STEM, such as Chemistry 101, before you begin Organic Chemistry next semester? North Virginia (NOVA) Community College offers free STEM resources for any college student across the country.
