Are your high school students questioning their future in STEM? Are they having a difficult time transitioning into their upcoming years of college? Do they need opportunities to build their resumes and develop their interests in STEM? The National STEM Honor Society™ (NSTEM™) will lead you through these challenges and help you prepare your High School Students in STEM for college and beyond.

STEM Exploration
Starting a NSTEM™ chapter at your school opens up a new door full of possibilities for your rising seniors! NSTEM™ encourages students to explore their passions for STEM through its enrichment activities and vast library of resources. NSTEM™ chapters meet several times throughout the year, rather than traditional honor societies that meet a few times a year. We prepare your high school students to apply their creative thinking and analytical skills through project-based learning activities.
In addition, NSTEM™ members receive access to NSTEM™’s library of hundreds of scholarships, grants, competitions, and awards. We recognize students’ commitment and their hard work in STEM by offering NSTEM™-specific awards and scholarships. As your students confidently pursue their interests in STEM, if they become NSTEM™ members, they will also have the opportunity to obtain a graduation cord! We can prepare your high school students for STEM with both recognition and style.
A World of Opportunities
Apart from developing their interests in STEM, NSTEM™ can prepare your high school students with access to various internships and resume-building opportunities. We provide many sources through our resource library. Student participation in NSTEM™ is a great extracurricular to have on their resumes due to the fact NSTEM™ members must maintain excellence in their STEM coursework. Membership is a prestigious honor.

Furthermore, as high school students progress to college, NSTEM™ membership in college provides amazing resume-building opportunities and prepares them for life after graduation. NSTEM members are connected to a network of knowledgeable individuals through NSTEM™’s college resources such as STEM projects, conferences, groups, and internships. NSTEM™ members gain valuable real world experience leading fundraising events, organizing and managing projects, and interacting with local businesses.
As a teacher, it is important to engage students in STEM. Start a NSTEM™ chapter today! For more information, please visit the NSTEM™ page: https://nstem.org/stage/start-a-chapter/
