DIY Lava Lamps<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity invites middle schoolers to create their very own lava lamps! First, they\u2019ll fill a bottle with water and food coloring. Then, they\u2019ll add vegetable oil and antacid tablets (or baking soda and vinegar) to create a bubbling lava lamp effect.
