Educator Relationships<\/h2>\n

Your top priorities are your existing educator relationships in your state or anywhere you have relationships, including international relationships. These personal relationships make a huge difference in building historic trust and in getting more Chapters open, thus helping more educators and students more quickly. Identify your existing relationships and place yourself in ownership of those relationships on our state of the art engagement software, Outreach IO.<\/p>\n

STEM Schools Database<\/h2>\n

Your second priority is STEM schools in your state from our NSTEM school database and the \u201cBest in STEM \u201d database. We have worked for years to create internal, proprietary databases of highly qualified and potentially very interested prospects. Focus on the largest school systems first. Once we register a school within a large system, we can then develop a strategy to grow the number of Chapters within that system. After a focus on the largest school systems that have at least one \u201cBest in STEM\u201d school, work your way through the largest school systems in your state, largest to smallest that have at least one school in the \u201cBest in STEM\u201d database.<\/p>\n

Independent \/ Private STEM Oriented Schools<\/h2>\n

Your third priority is to identify and focus on the independent\/private schools in your state that are in the \u201cBest in STEM\u201d or NSTEM database coded as STEM schools.<\/p>\n

Remaining Non-STEM Focused School Systems<\/h2>\n

Once through all of the STEM school databases in your state, focus on the largest remaining school systems in your state that do not have identified as \u201cSTEM schools\u201d in our databases. Determine with the help of NSTEM leadership which systems they are and then consider when you might switch your focus to an abutting state which is not covered by another Chapter Development Advisor. If and when you choose an abutting state, begin with priority 1 above and work through that state just as you did your home state.<\/p>\n

Help Students and Educators Internationally<\/h2>\n

If your goal is to help students and educators internationally (outside the US), then you would work with our market research team to identify and approach international schools that focus on STEM. A logical place to start would likely be American and British International Schools across the globe. Internationally, most of the good prospects, at least initially will be independent\/private schools as funding will be more readily available and they will make decisions more quickly. Study the international market in the area that is of interest to you and focus on one country at a time to learn that market, the local issues and to bring Chapters to international schools! If you would like, study a continent to prioritize the various countries within that continent to lay out a major plan with help of NSTEM Leadership.<\/p>\n
