Ad Astra Media
Morey’s Ad Astra Media is “a STEAM media and edutainment company seeking to renew a faith in facts and reason and uplift underserved and minority communities by providing scientific role models in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) to which they can aspire.”
The mission of the National STEM Honor Society™ aligns perfectly with Dr. Morey’s vision and accomplishments for the Latinx community. With his help and experience, NSTEM™ can accelerate its mission to empower and serve students From K to Career™ in STEM fields.
National STEM Honor Society™ Founder, Eric Magers, believes that the key to leveling the playing field in STEM involves engaging kids from the start, ensuring all demographics are represented. Similarly, Ad Astra Media aims to foster an excitement for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) at an early age, especially in the younger Latinx community, through positive role models and bilingual edutainment content. Ad Astra Media encourages students to explore STEAM and its possibilities and eventually pursue a career in this rapidly growing job field.
“We believe that STEM needs to start early, from the very start. And to continue through all levels of education and into rewarding careers that can change the trajectory of people’s lives…as it did mine.” – Ken Hecht, President of NSTEM™
With the demand for STEM careers on the rise, we must reach students from the start and light the “match” that will ignite their passion for STEM. We are delighted to have Dr. Morey join us on our journey; his work with underrepresented students adds tremendous value to our organization, and his service to a plethora of causes reflects his passion for STEM. As we welcome the incredible Dr. Morey to our organization, NSTEM™ looks forward to collaborating with him on upcoming projects and achieving new accomplishments together!
